Ramboll is looking for a passionate, creative and enthusiastic undergraduate intern to join our Building Structures team in Chester for either a 6-week or 12-week summer placement. Ramboll’s internship programme is a great way to enhance your learning and employability by gaining real-world experience with our expert engineers. This is a paid placement based on the Real Living Wage. You will be part of a dynamic and growing company, learning about technical design and other aspects of engineering. You will get hands-on experience with drawing and analysis software. You will have a mentor for your placement who will train, monitor and feedback on your performance throughout your work. We aim to provide varied experience, working on real projects, with suitable guidance and supervision, which may include: * Assisting the team with identifying engineering design solutions to our client’s problems * Carrying out engineering calculation and computational analysis where appropriate * Creating engineering drawings and sketches to communicate our solutions effectively * Shadowing members of the team on site visits, meetings etc * Contribute to Ramboll culture and values, participating in team and company events * Producing a written summary of your experience during the placement.
