As a working student in product design focusing on Design Systems, you will be part of the Design Operations team that builds and evolves the foundations of the Celonis platform experience. Our mission is to create consistent, accessible, and scalable design foundations that empower product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences efficiently. By contributing to our system of tokens, components, interaction patterns, and design standards, you will help drive design excellence and ensure a cohesive user interface across the Celonis platform. The Role: This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how scalable design is built and maintained in a complex enterprise product. You’ll gain experience with cross-functional collaboration, documentation best practices, and systems thinking – all while helping to define the visual and interaction patterns that shape how users experience Celonis. As a Working Student in Product Design – Design Systems, you will play an active role in shaping the foundations of the Celonis user experience. You will contribute to the development and evolution of our design system, which ensures consistency, efficiency, and accessibility across our product suite. You’ll work alongside designers, engineers, and system leads to maintain and extend our component libraries, token architecture, and design standards. Your work will directly support product teams across Celonis, enabling them to build high-quality interfaces. The work you’ll do: Creating resources and documentation for designers and engineers using the latest tools (supernova.io). Designing a motion system for Celonis product design. Include AI indicators in our component landscape. Exploring new interaction patterns for Celonis product flows. Refining information architecture and navigation across Celonis product surfaces. Refining and improving Celonis’ iconography system. Extending the system of semantic tokens.

Requirements

  • Adaptability and an open-minded approach to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • 40 hours per week, for a duration of one year, with no university enrollment required since this role is intended for recent graduates.
