Job Description

As an RBC BlueBay Summer Intern within the Emerging Markets Equities Team, you will have the opportunity to gain experiences and insights into the responsibilities of a Emerging Markets Equities function within a major international asset manager. Within the function the team covers Portfolio Management, Client Management, Risk Management, Portfolio Analysis and ESG Analysis. The team is also at the forefront of exploring the responsible adoption and acceleration of AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Requirements

Students must be in their first year of a three-year degree, or second year of a four-year degree programme.
A keen interest in how the Asset Management side of a Global Banking Business works and a desire to develop expertise and knowledge of a Emerging Markets Equities Investment team.
Natural curiosity and a growth mindset with eagerness to learn market dynamics
Basic competence in data analysis techniques and tools including excel
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across diverse teams
Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks, manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
