The Finance team provides a broad range of timely, accurate, relevant, and objective financial information, advice, and services to its business partners, with commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards. As an intern on the Finance team, you will gain exposure to: * Collaborating with multiple departments within the Finance team, such as Corporate Accounting, Vendor Accounting Operations, Market Data Research Finance, Procurement, and Financial Planning & Analysis * Operating in a dynamic and competitive hedge fund environment * Developing a deep understanding of the infrastructure of a successful hedge fund, focusing on the Finance team's role in efficiently reporting and analyzing trends, managing complex transactions, and compensating global employees * Supporting colleagues with daily tasks, including the month-end close process, preparing investor risk reports, assisting with portfolio management-level compensation, and creating consolidated monthly financial packages SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT POINT72 In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: * Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals * Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events * Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths * Get hands-on access to best-in-class tools and resources * Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry * Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
