Job Description

To ensure that all operations are executed in accordance to the priorities set by the Shift Manager, * To report any problem in operations and to implement the agreed changes to solve the problems; * To ensure the optimum utilization of all equipment; * To ensure smooth and speedy movement of containers to and/or from rail siding and external road traffic vehicles transfer area; * To update the system with equipment identification on a continual basis; * To monitors the dispatch queues to identify potential clashes and delays in the yard; * To manually dispatche work instructions that are not in an automatic dispatch queue; * Responsible to elaborate reports requested by the management;

Requirements

High school diploma and a college degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline
Italian at mothertoungue level, proficiency with English language

In depth knowledge of logistics, yard planning/lay-out and container terminal operations
