Our team at the BMW Group evaluates innovative technologies for IT and manages the international IT Tech Office network. In this internship, you will support integrating state-of-the-art AI innovations into BMW Group processes, from vehicle development and production to sales and customer services. What awaits you? * You will support exploring and evaluating vision language models for industrial applications and help to fine-tune these models. * Furthermore, you help to set up benchmark problems, develop quantitative metrics, and compare different models. * In addition, you will assist in evaluating post-training methods for vision language models, including reinforcement learning. * Moreover, you contribute to presenting findings through internal reports and support potential scientific publications. * You will collaborate with internal development and IT departments as well as external partners, from startups to AI experts. * Furthermore, you help to build prototype applications based on tested and developed models to showcase to engineering departments.
