Job Description

You will be part of the Debt & Credit business line. More precisely within the Convertible Bonds & Distressed High Yield Special Situation Credit sales team. In this position you will be involved in: * Assist this sales team in their interaction with its client base * Involvement in various projects ‎to improve the overall efficiency of the sales process and system * Work closely with equity and credit analysts to generate quick summaries and trade ideas * Manage and develop Excel tools to help the team with their daily activity (Tracking and monitoring of CB and DHS universe,…) * Conduct fundamental analysis of CB and High Yield issuers * Analysis and comparison of T&Cs and legal documents attached to Convertible and Straight bonds * Screen our markets to identify new potential clients * Liaise with all the other desks and departments of Kepler Cheuvreux in London and in Europe to improve cross selling

Requirements

Student completing a Master’s level qualification within a management, economic or engineering subject (you are preferably in your last year of studies, seeking placement);
Strong academic background;
Previous internship experience on the trading floor or in Asset Management would be a plus;
Keen interest in financial markets;
Ability to analyze and interpret complex information quickly and accurately;
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly;
Capable of working under pressure;
Ability to build complex Excel spreadsheets, using VBA. Strong computer skills and ‎Bloomberg knowledge is a plus;
Fluent English is required any other European language would be a plus.
