Our Underwriting Assistants provide support and assistance to the Underwriting teams principally in London but may also include other AXIS locations through some lines of business. The role involves conducting tasks that ensure AXIS underwriters deliver optimal customer services that meet our clients’ needs and continue to build our growth as a leading specialty insurer and global reinsurer. The UA is responsible for delivering high-quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients, serving as a critical partner to the underwriting teams. Working closely with the Assistant Underwriter (AU) and underwriting teams, the UA focuses on maintaining service excellence in supporting the book of business, and achieving key metrics in retention, profitability, and growth. This is a varied Operations role that will provide a clear pathway to developing your knowledge and skills as a solid foundation for an insurance career.
