We are looking for a motivated MFG Process Engineering Intern to support the development, optimization, and documentation of optical assembly processes using UV-curable epoxies. This internship offers hands-on experience at the interface of optics, mechanics, materials, and manufacturing, in a high-tech industrial R&D environment. Job Responsibilities: * Characterization, reliability and repeatability studies of optical assemblies * Improvement and validation of processes and tools for automated assembly of optical components with UV curable epoxies (placement, dispensing, curing, measurement) * Use of test and measurement equipment for laser characterization (autocorrelators, power meters, spectrometers, oscilloscopes, optical and RF spectrum analyzers, etc.) * Cross-functional collaboration with the process, optical, mechanical and automation engineering teams * Analyse and present experimental results to a wider team * Write work instructions and other documentation (English)
