Your new role For the duration of your internship (4-6 months), you will be given a clear assignment with a goal to deliver a complex and challenging technical project, which can include the following (not limited to): • Develop new financial product features in our TypeScript codebase, extend our existing features, and optimize our internal systems. • Participate in the consolidation and migration of our logging, telemetry, and observability platform tooling in order to improve developer experience and optimize the detection of code quality issues. • Implement new modules and workflows in our CRM platform (Salesforce) to enable our internal customer service and business operations teams. You will be given autonomy to own and drive the discovery of options, to plan of the chosen direction, and to entirely implement the technical solution. You will drive, code, test, and ship your code to production. This is a chance to solve complex, real-world problems that will enable you to improve your critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and gain valuable real-world experience by working on solutions that produce immediate value for internal users and for customers. You will be connected with a mentor so you feel supported in your journey, and so you can create the best possible solutions while expanding your soft and technical skills alike. You will be working with a modern technology stack: we use mainly TypeScript for everything we build, GitLab CI/CD, and we have a cloud-native stack built on top of AWS, organized as a microservice architecture. Like all for our engineers, you will be given access to AI/LLM web chat tools (ChatGPT or similar), along with an AI agentic coding assistant that you can plug in your preferred IDE (GitHub copilot or similar).
