This Business Administration (Level 3) apprenticeship will give you a strong foundation in organisational, communication and coordination skills while working as part of our Rotherham Repairs & Maintenance contract. Although the apprenticeship sits within Business Support, the end goal is for you to develop the skills and experience needed to progress into a planning role. You’ll work closely with our planners and schedulers, gaining hands‑on experience in scheduling repairs, managing appointments, supporting workflow coordination and understanding how we deliver services to our customers. Throughout the programme, you’ll build confidence using our systems, handling enquiries, prioritising tasks and supporting the smooth running of the contract. By the end of the apprenticeship, you’ll have developed the core administrative and operational skills required to step into an entry‑level planning position, with a strong understanding of how our planning and scheduling teams operate day to day. The apprenticeship course will cover the following: - * Developing strong administrative and organisational skills * Learning how to manage and prioritise workloads effectively * Gaining experience using business systems, software and internal processes * Communicating professionally with customers, colleagues and stakeholders * Supporting planners and schedulers with coordination tasks * Updating records, maintaining accurate data and managing documentation * Understanding how repairs are scheduled and monitored within the Rotherham R&M contract * Building problem‑solving skills and supporting day‑to‑day operational tasks
