The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) department plays a central role in guiding ASML products through their full lifecycle. The team works with Development and Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and the Business Lines to ensure every product moves smoothly from design to high‑volume manufacturing. This internship supports an important challenge: creating more clarity about the skills and project environments needed for Project Coordinators. By contributing to this framework, you help PLM make better matching decisions that support both personal growth and operational excellence. In this internship, you will develop a framework that matches Project Coordinators to projects based on required competencies, project characteristics, and stakeholder dynamics. You will explore how projects differ in complexity, communication style, and role expectations. You will also work closely with team leads to understand how they make allocation decisions today. Your work will enable more consistent, transparent, and growth‑oriented matching. Your main responsibilities will be: Analyze different types of PLM projects and describe what skills they require. Identify key criteria that influence project complexity, such as stakeholder landscape and communication needs. Develop a classification model that groups projects based on required competencies. Translate your findings into a clear and practical framework for team leads. Test the framework using current projects within the PLM department. Provide recommendations to improve future allocation decisions. Present your findings in a structured report and share them with stakeholders.
