Job Description

Founded in 1978, we are a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Retail, Housing and Maintenance. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. We are currently recruiting a Modern Apprentice in Business Administration to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in a professional office environment while working towards a recognised Business Administration qualification. Role & Responsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to: · Reception duties · Switchboard cover and backup · Processing incoming mail (scanning and distribution) · Managing outgoing mail · Filing and general document control · Scanning for all departments · Maintaining drawing registers for contracts and logging drawings on Document management system · Administration of contract email inboxes · General typing and spreadsheet logging · Compiling building manuals, including liaising with subcontractors to obtain required information · Coordinating site signage and laminating · Managing stationery supplies · Providing administrative support across all departments · Preparing meeting rooms, including refreshments for internal and external meetings, and setting up for breakfast/lunch meetings This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Paisley Head Office. What will I learn? You will learn how to work in a busy office environment, how to use our bespoke IT Systems and databases. You will learn how to work both in a team and individually, manage your work load and support the team.
