










Tate + Co has an opportunity for a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its practice in London. We are architects, masterplanners and interior designers. Our projects range in scale from large regenerative masterplans to individual houses, and we have a broad spectrum of clients, including schools, universities, developers, hotels and Local Authorities. Job description Business development: * assist in the preparation of design proposals, presentations, and tender submissions, for the purposes of winning work Architectural/technical: * generate high impact innovative ideas, consider, and introduce new approaches * assist in anticipating trends and impacts of sustainability and regulatory factors on design work * assist in the preparation of architectural design proposals and presentations at all stages of a project * with a director or an architect meet with clients and construction professionals to discuss project objectives, budget and feasibility of designs * prepare meeting schedules, agendas and minutes as required * assist in reviewing local rules and regulations to ensure the construction project falls within all constraints * assist in the creation of drawings, detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications for architectural projects * use the computer-aided design software (Revit) to create blueprints and images * assist in the coordination of work between contractors, surveyors, engineers, and design team to create a viable and deliverable design * visit proposed locations and building sites as required * assist in the resolution of issues that come up during construction. participate in design reviews General: * taking on any incidental duties including answering the telephone * implementing practice systems and policies including the Quality Management System, Health and Safety Policy, Sustainability Policy, and Equal Opportunities Policy
