Job Description

Altrad are currently on the lookout for a Technical Apprentice which will involve an element of academic work with a clear path to becoming a qualified technician within the Altrad Babcock Asset Management team. Key Deliverables: Attend college classes and examinations/assessments when required Undertake technical activities under the supervision of senior staff Adopt Altrad safety culture in all aspects of working life Maintain personal log book/portfolio to meet requirements of Modern Apprenticeship Support senior staff in the execution of project work as required Meet personal development plans and targets required to follow Technical Apprentice training scheme Attain SVQ2 – Performing Engineering Operations in year 1 Attain HNC – Mechanical Engineering in year 1 Maintain personal log book/portfolio for SVQ3 (Years 2-3) to meet requirements of Modern Apprenticeship To support senior staff undertaking technical duties at base and/or site as required To meet all health & safety requirements of any work being undertaken
