Job Description

Link between application and development: You are the interface between our customers/users and our programmers/developers. You gather important customer feedback, use it to design suitable concepts for improving the software, and coordinate these with the software development team. Become a structural analysis all-rounder: Your adventure begins with supporting our users in Solution Engineering for the first six months. Whether by email or phone, you are always on hand to resolve technical queries about our programs and, at the end of the day, put a smile on our users' faces. Quality and product management: To not only meet but exceed the demands of the Dlubal Community, you will also be responsible for quality assurance through program testing and comparative calculations. At the same time, you will create important analyses as a basis for programming and technical documentation, for example manuals, technical articles, and product features. Training presentations: You will present our software in webinars and at trade shows, seminars, or conferences, where you will also represent our company, Dlubal Software. You will also assist our sales team with technical questions, training, and demonstrations to ensure an optimal customer experience.

Requirements

  • degree in structural engineering (ideally with a focus on steel structures/structural design) or mechanical engineering
  • experience as a structural designer or structural analyst
  • in-depth knowledge of the design of steel structures and connections according to Eurocode 3
  • analytical skills to evaluate and implement national and international standards
  • experience in using FEA software and structural frame & truss analysis software, ideally with Dlubal programs, for example RFEM or RSTAB
  • interested in software development and enjoy designing and presenting technical solutions
  • strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with users, developers, and customers
  • very good German (at least C1) and good English (at least B2) skills, both written and spoken
