Job Description

You’ll be part of our McKinsey Digital recruiting team, co-located with other recruiters in our Munich office. You will handle the recruitment of highly qualified consultants, a key success factor for McKinsey & Company. Our recruiting team is dedicated to identifying, inspiring, and selecting exceptional candidates within a dynamic international environment to create an exceptional professional environment for exceptional people. Your internship will provide hands-on experience across the full recruitment life cycle, offering opportunities to develop professional relationships and strengthen your organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Your contributions will directly support our efforts to attract and secure top talent, helping us build a strong and dynamic workforce. You will play a key role in supporting a variety of tasks and projects within our recruiting team. Your responsibilities will include managing data in the Applicant Tracking System, assisting candidates throughout the recruitment process, coordinating recruiting events, and direct sourcing via external platforms. You will work closely with team members and consultants, participate in training sessions, and contribute to select team initiatives. This is a 6-month internship opportunity, starting at the earliest available onboarding date.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or a related field
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong orientation towards collaboration in a team environment
  • Ability to independently manage and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Initial experience in the HR environment, preferably in recruiting, gained during an internship or as a working student
  • Ability to create work product-focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in German and English, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
