In order to support ZEROe Research & Technology (RnT) department, Airbus Operations is looking for a Working Student in Structure Design & Manufacturing (d/f/m) You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Composite Design Engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in ZEROe Research & Technology as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

Requirements

Enrolled student in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical degree
Basic to advanced knowledge in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) / Catia V5 is highly desired
If you are proficient in other CAD tools, a strong motivation to learn 3DX quickly is required
Basic understanding of FEM (Finite Element Method) and pre-sizing principles is preferred
Motivation to deepen your knowledge in this area is key
Understanding of composite materials (CFRP) and mechanical design principles
"Hands-on" mentality
You enjoy tinkering and building things physically, not just designing them digitally
Fluent in English
German is a strong plus (especially for communication in the workshop) but not a must
