Job Description

Are you energised by untangling complex questions around data privacy, AI governance and cyber security? Do you want to help drive Ramboll’s global commitment to responsible business and compliance as we shape a more sustainable future? And are you a curious student who values collaboration, integrity, and making a positive impact on society? If this sounds like you – or you’re simply keen to learn more – then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join our Global Data Regulation Business Partner team as our new Legal Student Assistant and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. Your new role As our new Legal Student Assistant, you will help safeguard Ramboll’s responsible use of data in a world of fast-moving digital regulation. You will be part of our Global Data Regulation Business Partner team within Ramboll’s Legal & Compliance organisation. We are a small, high-paced group that supports colleagues across 35+ countries on data privacy, AI compliance and NIS2 cyber-security requirements. From day one you will collaborate with experienced legal professionals, gain hands-on exposure to international compliance work, and see how a global consultancy turns regulation into responsible business practice. Our Copenhagen office is a vibrant hub with regular social events, flexible working options and a culture built on mutual respect and good humour. Your key responsibilities will be: * Reviewing incoming business requests that involve data-regulatory requirements and advising on next steps * Supporting the Data Regulatory Business Partner team with legal and administrative tasks, including stakeholder communication and project tracking * Preparing presentations, reports and training materials that translate complex regulations into practical guidance * Maintaining and updating internal resources and knowledge-sharing platforms * Conducting targeted legal research within data privacy, AI and cyber-security topics

Requirements

  • Currently studying a bachelor’s (minimum 2nd year) or master’s degree in law or a similar field

  • Well organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Danish, including proficiency with PowerPoint for clear visual storytelling
  • You are available to work approximately 15 hours per week on average
