




This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious, creative and talented university student seeking a one-year paid placement in Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate would be an undergraduate currently studying a marketing or business related degree. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: As Digital Marketing Placement you’ll be joining a team that is fast-moving and hardworking, developing and delivering communications on a pan-European level, as well as supporting the needs of our local European offices. You will consequently gain exposure to a broad range of brand activities. You will be mainly working on our digital communications, maintaining and developing our corporate websites and intranet, reviewing social media content, handling external enquiries, monitoring and analysing the website performance, and working with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with colleagues from Hitachi Group companies to make sure product information and web links are accurate and up- to date in multiple languages. You will also work with external social media and translation agencies to manage the online content. You will use online tools such as website analytics, social media scheduling tools , as well as our Adobe content management system. You will handle online enquiries from European customers, and either respond to them or redirect them internally as appropriate. You’ll also get involved in designing and developing new content to keep the websites looking fresh and engaging.
