Job Description

The Transcriptome & Proteome Profiling research group at Leibniz-LSB@TUM is currently seeking a motivated Master’s student to begin a thesis project starting in June 2025. Master’s Student (m/f/d) - Thesis “Optimization of CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) Reactions on Microarrays” Duration: 6 months We are looking for a talented and motivated student specializing in chemistry, molecular biology, or biochemistry to contribute to our groundbreaking research. The project focuses on optimizing CRISPR reactions on microarrays to deepen our understanding of CRISPR-based technologies.

Requirements

  • The ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the principles of good scientific practice.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of molecular biology, with practical lab experience being highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience with cell culture is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
