Conduct research in the areas of database systems, big data analytics, and data science * Further the development of information management theory and algorithms, with respect to parallel and distributed processing systems suitable for complex analysis methods involving large data volumes on heterogeneous processors * Perform teaching duties for DIMA courses, such as Informationssysteme und Datenanalyse, Database Technology and Scalable Data Science: Systems and Methods

Requirements

Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in computer science or Business Informatics
In-depth knowledge in SQL databases and declarative query processing in the context of data mining
In-depth knowledge in programming distributed and parallel databases and data analysis algorithms
