Job Description

The Data Analyst Intern is accountable for supporting the Strategy and Operations team in strategic and tactical decision making, performance monitoring and delivering actionable customer insights. The Strategy and Operations team identifies opportunities across the Europe business. This may be through finding new sources of revenue, unlocking unmet customer needs within the existing merchant portfolio, or driving upsell opportunities. The team works cross-functionally with other PayPal teams

Requirements

Currently studying for an Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Science or other numerate degree
Enrolled on a university course in your penultimate year, final year with a predicted or achieved 2.1 or above
Commercial mindset coupled with analytical mindset and high attention to detail
Exceptional at interpreting and drawing business insights from data and analysis
Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills
Excellent knowledge of R/SQL/Python/MS Excel – ability to run queries to extract data from multiple systems – preferred
Work authorization for the United Kingdom required
