Internship Details: • Start date: September 2026 • Location: Geleen, The Netherlands • Duration: between 16-24 weeks • Working hours: 32 - 40 hours per week, with flexibility during exams and holidays • Work model: Onsite Responsibilities may include the following as well as other assigned tasks: During your internship, you’ll focus on a primary project, chosen according to your background, interests, and experience. Below are examples of possible internship projects. 1. Process Characterization In the design and development stage of our production processes, characterizing those processes is vital. You’ll test and document the relationships between process inputs and outputs and establish process controls to ensure reliability and efficiency. By the end of the project, we’ll have a clear understanding of process performance, highlighting areas for improvement. 2. Increase Equipment Uptime Some equipment’s uptime can be enhanced by making wear parts more resistant. Improving these components not only reduces wear but can also boost overall equipment performance. This assignment involves designing a more durable part to maximize uptime and efficiency, without compromising other equipment features. 3. Design a Manufacturing Workstation As we scale up, our manufacturing workstations are continually evolving. Several require redesigns to improve ergonomics, automation, capacity, or efficiency. Your role will be to gather design requirements and develop a future-ready workstation concept.
