We are looking for someone to support us in our diverse tasks. This will give you the opportunity to get to know the different units within our department and gain an overview of the different activities. You will be located in the department of “Protein Chemistry” which belongs to the “Reagent Research and Design” unit of Roche Centralized and Point of Care Solutions and has its focus on the development of protein-based reagents for immunological diagnostic assays. Here we develop, realize and evaluate innovative solutions for diagnostic system concepts based on Roche Cobas e-analyzer for the targeted and high-sensitive quantification of human body fluids. Your Tasks * You will actively participate in research projects to optimize antibody based reagents development for current and future technologies. * You will perform different techniques for antibody purification. * You will perform antibody conjugation using both site-specific and nonspecific labeling strategies and purify them. * You will evaluate the performance of these reagents on Cobas e-analyzer. * You will review and evaluate scientific literature and present your findings. * You will work in close cooperation with several teams distributed between different departments (Chemistry, Protein Chemistry, Antibody development and Enzyme technology).
