









The design of complex systems increasingly represents a multidisciplinary optimisation task in order to quantify the advantages of new technologies in the best possible way. Helicopter rotor blades are one such system for which DLR is developing a tool chain for the automated generation, calculation and evaluation of the internal structure. As part of our team, you will work on the further development of a tool for structure generation and calculation, which is realised by combining a design program (CATIA) with simulation software (ANSYS) in a Python environment. The aim is the numerical calculation of structural properties of rotor blade cross-sections and the development of visualisation and protocol structures.
