






The apprenticeships at SKAN are aimed at people who would like to complete a dual training program and serve as an entry into the professional world. In the three to four year apprenticeship period, the apprentices pass through different departments and areas and thus get an overview of the entire company. The exchange and cooperation between apprentices from different professions is strongly encouraged. For example, the apprentices organize occasions and events, work together as a project team and thus learn a high level of social and professional competence. Overview Duration: 4 years Vocational school: 2 days per week in Basel Specialization: mechanical, electrical and metal industry Vocational baccalaureate: possible Responsibilies The first year of the apprenticeship takes place externally in the basic year of electronics/automation at the Gewerbeschule in Basel.
