YourFord Kirkcaldy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to begin their career as a Service Technician Apprentice through the Scottish Modern Apprenticeship framework at SCQF Level 7. This apprenticeship provides a structured pathway into the automotive industry, combining paid employment with nationally recognised training and qualifications. Working alongside experienced Ford technicians, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of Ford vehicles, systems, and customer service standards. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for mechanics, problem-solving, and developing a long-term career in the motor industry. What will I learn? Assist senior technicians in routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance tasks Support fault-finding using diagnostic tools and equipment Learn to repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems Follow health & safety procedures and work safely in the workshop Record work completed, parts used, and service activity accurately Attend all required IMI training and assessments Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
