The successful Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will join a talented team of Traffic Signals specialists. As a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with one of our experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, fix, maintain, and test a range of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lights and electrical equipment that is associated with this within Kent. There is a requirement to be on call every 1 in 4 weeks as well as working nights when the contract requires. What you’ll do: * Learn to carry out maintenance of traffic signals and associated equipment and commissioning of traffic signal equipment * Ensure test equipment, PPE and Vehicle are all compliant with up-to-date certification as required * Ensure works are completed in accordance with site specifications * Complete maintenance in line with agreed schedules and SLA’s under supervision * Carry out on site risk assessments and follow method statements * Attend Team brief / Toolbox talks as required * Learn to carry out Site Acceptance Tests with Clients (basic sites)
