As a 1L who had no knowledge of patent law, it was incredibly informative to start out my summer with this assignment. It made for fun conversation at lunches, debating certain arguments and discussing various strategies. The feedback gave me insight into the differences between law student writing and actual legal writing at a law firm.” - Caelen Caspers, University of Minnesota Law School Show more Pro bono is an integral part of Fish. The vast majority of our attorneys participate in pro bono work, and we include at least one pro bono work project for all summer associates. We partner with a variety of highly regarded public interest and legal services organizations around the country. Our goal is to provide early exposure and experience that will lead to a career-long commitment to pro bono work.
