At Cloudflare, we are helping build a better Internet, and our Data & Technology Team is at the heart of that mission. We are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Operations and AI Innovation intern who will help modernize our workflows by integrating AI-driven automation into our everyday processes. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our strategic goals by identifying manual bottlenecks and building the technical bridges needed to automate them. As an Operations and AI Innovation Intern on the Data & Technology Team, you will: * Process Analysis & Innovation: Audit current manual workflows to identify opportunities for automation. You will map out complex business processes (such as internal privacy and vendor assessments, data subject requests, etc.) and provide recommendations on where AI can drive maximum efficiency. * AI Agent Development: Develop and refine AI agents and “Gems” to automate manual tasks. This includes prompt engineering, defining agent personas, and iteratively testing outputs to ensure they meet quality standards. * Operational Monitoring & Insights: Define and develop data queries and dashboards to track key performance indicators and analyze operational metrics using tools such as Google Looker Studio or Tableau. * Communication Automation: Design and deploy automated triage and response systems for high-volume inbound requests received through emails, ticketing systems, and other shared departmental channels. * Knowledge Integration: Help map internal data sources, such as internal Wikis, Sales answer banks, and technical documentation into the automation knowledge base to improve response accuracy.
