1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time (Immediate Start) Location: Bolton (BL2) Agency: Tradewind Recruitment Start Date: ASAP Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a committed and nurturing 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the BL2 area of Bolton. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and running until the end of the academic year. The role involves providing dedicated support to a pupil with additional educational needs, helping them to access learning and feel confident within the classroom environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference to a child's day-to-day school experience. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver tailored 1:1 support to meet the pupil's individual needs * Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning where required * Support the child's social, emotional, and academic development * Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence * Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies The Ideal Candidate Will: * Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs * Be patient, empathetic, and consistent in their approach * Have a good understanding of strategies to support additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, or speech and language) * Be proactive and able to adapt to the needs of the pupil * Work effectively as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience in a primary SEN setting while making a real impact.
