Start your career by helping make a real difference to children, young people and families across Angus. As a Modern Apprentice Promise Assistant, you’ll use your experiences, ideas and voice to support work that helps Angus deliver The Promise — ensuring care‑experienced young people feel loved, safe and supported. You’ll join a friendly team who will help you build confidence and develop skills in communication, youth work and engagement. From supporting group activities to helping gather young people’s views, you’ll play a meaningful part in shaping how services listen and improve. You don’t need experience — just enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine interest in helping others. We’ll support you to learn on the job, gain your SVQ qualification and explore future careers in social care, youth work and community support. You will need to have a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check but we will help you through this process and meet the cost. For more details check out the attached job outline and person specification at the bottom of the page. This job is temporary for up to 18 months from date of appointment. Self selection interviews will be offered during the period 13th April - 15th May.
