You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means: * Studies on the stereoselective preparation of organic compounds. Special emphasis on the development of new synthetic reactions and reaction sequences, with an emphasis on redox-neutral amination reactions, transition metal-catalyzed reactions for functional group interconversion, hydride transfer reactions, alkaloid synthesis, and rearrangement reactions. * We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months. * You work on your dissertation and its completion. * You teach within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. * You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration and have experience in academic writing. * IT user skills: e.g. Microsoft Office, ChemOffice. * You communicate in English (written and spoken).
