You will work with NXP’s Industrial Systems Innovation team on advanced motor control reasearch for Robotics used case. As motor applications become more deeply integrated into complex motion-control systems, the embedded processors controlling electric motors take on increasingly complex tasks. Our work explores how these developments impact system architectures. You will support the team by: * Porting next-generation control algorithms to embedded hardware. * Connecting and integrating various sensors, data sources, and communication devices into embedded setups—covering both physical integration and firmware. * Supporting experienced engineers in evaluating control algorithms through simulation, emulation, and hardware testing.
