Job Description

In the field of liquid biopsy, you will support our team in developing methods for biomarker extraction from blood samples for cancer diagnostics. Specifically, you will conduct a series of experiments to extract extracellular vesicles from plasma. In doing so, you will investigate chromatography and filtration processes with the aid of microfluidic cartridges. Analyze the extracted vesicles using biochemical methods. You will be closely supported by our interdisciplinary team (engineering sciences, life sciences). Plan and document the experiments and present the results.

Requirements

You are currently enrolled in a degree program in biochemistry, biology, bioanalytics, biophysics, molecular medicine, life sciences, or a related natural science field and are required to complete a mandatory internship as part of your studies.
You are characterized by an independent, systematic, and meticulous approach to your work. You plan and document experiments and present results.
You are motivated to learn new methods, familiarize yourself with new subject areas, and are willing to work in a multidisciplinary research field.
