Attached to the Centre of Excellence for Materials and Eco-Design, the intern in Eco-design and Life Cycle Analysis will support the ecodesign team to assess comparative environmental evaluations on innovative solutions and suggest proposals for improvement. He/she will be integrated into one or more new product or technology development projects. The Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) method following the standards and sectorial guidelines applicable to products manufactured by PT will be preferred and applied, eco-design indicators may also be evaluated. He/she may also need to improve the internal database used for life cycle analyses. Main Missions For each new product or technology project to which the intern will be integrated • Carry out an inventory of the data already available on the environmental impact of the solution studied and that of reference (existing LCA, bibliography, etc.) • Conduct the comparative environmental analysis • Propose ways to reduce environmental impacts • Simulate the design options • Improve internal modeling and data for LCA • Share the study with teams and write the report
